 Kalam is the 11th President and Astronomer of India and was born on 15th October 1931 in Rameshwaram.Abdul Kalam was an Indian scientist who was President of India from 2006 to 2007.            He became the 11th President of India in 2002 with the support of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the then Vice President of the state, the Indian National Congress.  He received many prestigious awards, including India’s highest honor India.

After a play at the Madras Institute of Technology in 1903, Salaam became a member of the Defense Research and Development Association and later joined the Defense Research and Development Organization’s Aeronautics Development Institute as a scientist.
