Examination in Std. 10 and 12 and Mass Promotion
Corona virus has thus affected every sector. But the education department and educational activities have suddenly gone digital. The study is going on but the education system is confused about why to take the exams. Not only this, the schools are also not clear about the examination. There is a risk of malpractice from online exams. A big and important decision has now been taken by the state education department. Std. 10 and 12 board exams will be held in May next year instead of March. While the form for this exam is likely to be filled next month i.e. in January. This form is usually filled out in the month of November.
Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducts Std. 10 and 12 examinations every year. Forms for this exam are filled four months in advance. The process of filling up this online form is completed in a month and a half. But this time the whole schedule has been postponed due to Corona virus. Most schools are currently offering online education. Which is likely to remain the same in the days to come. While other standards are being considered for mass promotion. This was announced by the state’s education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama as the exams have to be held in Std.
According to the new plan, the form is likely to be filled in January. The process of filling all the forms will be completed by the end of February. So I will hold a board exam in a month. However, the entire program regarding the exam is yet to be made public. Sources said that a decision will be taken in a meeting for this. Currently board students are getting online education. Hola tickets will also be distributed after filling the form. The date for this has not been announced yet. Once the form is filled, the center will also be announced. Board exams are usually held in March each year. This time the exam is scheduled for May due to Corona.
