Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual system. Our India is the only country that has given the gift of yoga to the whole world. Yoga is a Sanskrit word which means to connect or unite. Yoga symbolizes the union of body and soul. Yoga is a spiritual discipline. Today yoga is practiced in different forms all over the world and its popularity is also increasing day by day. Yoga has been a part of our Indian culture for centuries. Yoga is associated with meditation in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendrabhai Modi first discussed yoga at the United Nations General Assembly. June 21 is the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere and this is why Prime Minister Modi suggested celebrating June 21 as World Yoga Day. Subsequently, a resolution was passed by the United Nations in which most of the countries of the world agreed and decided to observe 21st June 2015 as World Yoga Day. “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition to the world,” Prime Minister Modi told the UN General Assembly about yoga. Yoga is the unity of mind and body; Thought and action, restraint and fulfillment; Harmony between man and nature; There is a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not just an exercise but a means of cultivating oneness with the world and nature through our intuition. Yoga will bring awareness to change our lifestyle. It can help us fight climate change. So let’s all work towards adopting an international yoga day. “Many politicians and celebrities from around the world have joined in the celebration of Yoga Day. People from around 170 countries around the world, including the United States, China, Japan and Canada, have joined in the celebration. Organized, which includes yoga training centers, yoga competitions and many more activities that appeal to people to adopt yoga in their daily lives for physical, mental and intellectual health. Yoga brings positive changes in our lives and our happy lives. Works to improve the level.
